    Stumpy

Stump is the MAN ! Growing up he skiied at Pleasant Mt in Bridgeton, Maine where we skiied every weekend and it was a BIG deal to go see his ski films at Gorham State College. Great to hear that he's hooked up with TGR ! Greg has a home in Maui; and one in Whistler, B.C. How sweet is that ?

I met Greg Stump at a bar last Friday night and there were a few of the TRG crew around too. I didn't know it was him until he asked me my name and introduced himself (funny cause I used to peddle his films in So Cal back when I was fresh outta Highschool). However, I did know he recently moved to this valley so it was just a matter of time before I would meet him. I don't usually get starstruck but this encounter blew me away. You may touch me now. He was down to earth and a way cool guy to drink with/bullshit with and...ummm...hang out with.

I look forward to seeing what Stumpy and TGR can put together for this year because it sounds very interesting and a little different than most ski porn these days.

BTW, I didn't see Cynthia Gibb around that night.

Yeah...let's hope it's a change of pace from that. I've got my fingers crossed that he can bring some soul back to it!
