No offence or anything Tom from Austria but as a skier, one tries to get down the mountain with as much style as possible ie. looking nice and controlled.
From the vid, these skis look as though they make you ski way in the back seat waving your ski poles around in front of you.

    Its just has no steeze

EDIT: Plus these ski don't seem to offer any performance benefits either. Any decent skier could make turns like that.

You are right in the first argument,
but you are very wrong in the second one.
The reason is the pure physics of ski movement.
Rax ski has its speed and direction control at the right place:
behind the "motor" (skier's weight center, acting thru boots).

In 1.5 years of testing in mostly suboptimal conditions
I have never been passed by anybody.

Just because you are the fastest retard flailing down the slope does not mean you are not retarded.

You may be right, lg. Apparently it was a mistake publishing such a video
that shows just the dry technique. No beauty. And a skier without left hand!
    But !!!!
The most clever marketing experts count on positive effect,
if the advertised object proves much better in the reality than on the poor video.
In sharp contrast to typical ads showing the most attractive environment
and disappointing later at the first touch with the reality.

Poles are not needed to release turns. They are life-saving tools in very steep couloirs. I just suffered shoulder luxation before this video was taken.

You would not believe it, bur your buns are safe on this ski. Tuckerman.
Falling back at the full speed lets fins produce a torsional moment that returns you back to the normal position. Even with very short ski of 70 cm.
    It's like a miracle.

    Tom, you've inspired me.

I've decided to forget everything I thought I knew about skiing and am going to sew one of these into the ass of my ski pants.

Fellow JONG's, If you get a little too far into the back seat and are looking crazed and out of control, you simply sit down to immediately regain control of your haphazard decent. It's a miracle how quickly you come to a stop with this thing strapped to your back side.

Maybe this in addition to Tom's skis will be the answer to sticking to the side of the mountain like velcro. Exactly what I constantly strive to do while skiing

    Respectfully,
Newest recruit of the Forward Thinking Inventors club

I could use a little help here, I'm going to need a name for my new invention... something really rad sounding... but short enough so people with no brains can remember it.

COME AND GET 'EM. BE THE FIRST TO GET YOUR ASS SUCKED ...erm SUX ASS DESCENT ASSISTANT. Step right up folks don't be shy, trust me you don't want to be in Corbets Couloir without one of these... much less at the top looking in and you're the only one going without! Yes, in a couple years, the SUX ASS will be a standard piece of ski equipment. Get your orders in early and be able to say you were one of the first to use one!

I'm taking orders now. At the moment I don't have an actual product to sell you, but believe me, I will... as soon as I bring the SUCKINASS factory on line.

SUX ASS!!! Come and get em!!!

Tom. For my follow-up question I need to know if you are from Saxony. Is this indeed the case?

Yeah, you folks shall suffer even stronger,
as the Generation 2008 of Rax allows no back seat
but shows fins like any other Rax baby.

Announced in our homepage as "Glacier",
it is sticking to hard piste or ice like a fly to the glass screen.

Guess about the design and applied physical principles.
Still secret for I am lazy to take a photo.

blockp, you've inspired me. Twice in my life i was dreaming of metal stoppers
on my ski pants to slow down my ever faster gliding thru an icy couloir.
I've survived using the poles as ice axes.

Thank God you're back Tom. I was beginning to drift back to reality after three years. Silly me, I always thought the toe piece of the binding had to be at least somewhat on the same plane as the heel piece. Learn something new every day. Please bring your good fun luvin happy time RaxSki to Snowbird. Can't wait to try them out in 36" of blower.
I like you, do you like me? In Kazakstahn we think America technologely very good, and now I see is a very primitive. My RaxSki is better than your PMgear Brothers. That's it! Tom is Channeling Borat. I knew there was something familiar about this guy!
