Rob just needs to point out that he hasn't yet been the subject of our elaborate hazing rituals.
I will crack up, however, if I'm approached by some jeans or Bogner-clad gaper who notices my Bros and asks for change.not counting days 2016-17

I hear you. I responded once, but here's another. Thanks again for replying. You've all given me some cool insight, and I had a good phone confab with Splat last night, too. He had some good words and stories on maggots.
I'm not really a lurker, but when I did that Whistler story, I had no sources for discontent, and your board was way, way more informative than any other ski board. Didn't mean to portray you badly, but I honestly don't think that Whistler gondola is going to ruin anything.
The statements that I'm a writer for Skiing and a freelancer are both true. If you can't understand that, look up freelancer.
Sorry if I vanish for hours/days. My good computer crashed, and I'm working virtually on dial-up speeds on an old one.

Please quote Mime extensively. I think he speaks for us all.

Lots of people seem worried about some infiltration of this place by jongs and whatnot....
But what no one has mentioned yet is that perhaps as a result of the article there would also be some cool new members as well who would post up TR's, photos, humor, etc. What would be bad about that?

Rob, I love you're enthusiasm, but we already made a video about the maggots a few years ago.
Here is a little clip of it. Enjoy! nsfw

Hi Rob! I would like to formally invite you to construct and publish your article about our fun-loving community at http://forums.alpinezone.com. Unlike the TGR "maggots", our membership bonds at a higher level and we are much more savvy and disciplined than the juvenile and somewhat profane wannabes you will encounter here. We congregate and ski together in addition to discussing in our forum the true "gnar" of American skiing, which is the northeast. Real skiers know that best in the land come from our area! If TGR is the "Pabst Blue Ribbon" of ski forums, we would be the "Guinness Stout". C'mon over and meet our crew Rob, our "Story" needs to be told!
