Cannot believe this thread has been stagnant for so long.

Just blew out my knee so will be going deep on the cooking front.
Currently making a Cochinita pibil.
Bunch of crazy seasonings - making it with wild boar - see fall days afield thread.

Oh, I disagree on the french onion soup - caramelize the onions in a covered pot - then transfer to crock pot = no worries,
I use caribou stock for excellent flavor.

Damn dude - I wanna come to dinner at your place.....

Can't believe this thread was tossed on the scrap heap! The "what do you eat" thread reminded me of it. Though, admittedly, I have graduated from the crockie to the instant pot, but similar recipes.
