    Moment Ruby vs Fat-ypus D-Sender

I'm trying to decide between the 188 Moment Ruby and the 184 Fat-ypus D-Sender. The Rubys are 139-112-130 and the D-Senders and the D-Senders are 144-112-130. I'm 6'2" 185 and I'm looking for something to be a step up from my 180 Firstbloods which I'll probably be skiing most days. I read ggski's review of the D-Sender and basom's review of the Ruby, and they both seem pretty awesome.

I'm going to be working at Beaver Creek this winter, so I'm going to be skiing a lot of trees and some steeps and hopefully powder (but also a lot of groomers). I'm leaning towards the Moments because of the price, but if the D-Senders would be life changing I'd consider dropping the cash. Although unlikely, I was wondering if anyone has skied both and could offer any input, or just say jong and searchbar a bunch.

I can tell you the rubys are really light, and that I wouldn't want to ski them on 90% of days at beaver creek. I've never seen the Fatys.

I would ski the reno's in 180 if i was sking Beaver creek every day

man the groomers are fun there.

my 188 rubys are fun but thats a big ski to throw around in the tight trees of the Beave maybe the 180's would be better

They basically have the same radius, so I think I'd go with the better price.

The other guy to consider which also has the same shape is the Volkl Katana.

You'll have to let us know what you think...review it up!

i ride the d-senders as an everyday stick, and they kick ass. they took a bit to get used to. pretty stiff, the moments look nice also. they probably have a more aggressive tail, but the fattys are fine switch also
Dude where'd you get that jacket?
