I'll try to get some pics next time I'm out in a proper rain storm riding the muddy ruts

Me and the girl driving the groomer tried to push him out, but he was high centered.
All I could understand was “fucking Waze”.

shreadhead got me motivated to go out and get a new bike yesterday. That and I realized there is probably 200 miles of groomed forest service roads around my house. Need to dial in the clothing.

    Nice!
If you’re not a little cold leaving home, you’ll be really hot coming back.

Was going to go touring this weekend but wound up spending both days doing this.

Went up to LA to demo Revel bikes and ride some trails this weekend. One lap up Space Mountain for each bike, 8mi return.

More pics from this weekend. Checked out another ride in the Santa Monicas called New Millenium trail after the Revel demo. Remembered my light but didn't have the helmet mount for it. My knee didn't cooperate so I got back to the truck by last light anyways. Nice flowy trail, will have to go back and finish it.

A few more pics from last weekend. Decided to check out a segment of the Santa Monica Backbone trail near Malibu. Nice trail, perfect weather and ocean views

You can just make out two trailhead parking lots in the distance below. I only ran into a couple people in 10mi each way, so I guess everyone headed into the wilderness area on the other side. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Picked up a new Salsa Journeyman. It’s mostly for commuting (hence the rear rack), but couldn’t resist a bit of “gravel” today.

35 degrees when I left my house. 11 miles of dirt with 5 miles of road on either end.

    Central Montana "road" ride.

Mountain lion tracks were not small. I'm a size 11. Almost turned around when I saw them.
