Go forth and ride, then bring back pics

Started hiking this trail in ‘22 cause I was burned out on MTB. Bike itch came back last year but I was still motivated to do the same trail so I started bringing the bike, riding the first half and HAB the second steep AF half. Nice bang for the buck, great view, and a killer DH. Here’s a years worth of it. (For some reason I have to force 1080p in the YT settings otherwise it looks like blurry shit)

Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

It’s hot gravel summer for me I guess. Photo from an overnighter mostly following the SF Peninsula Traverse route (https://bikepacking.com/routes/sf-peninsula-traverse/). And now off to Idaho to do a big chunk of the Idaho Hot Springs route… although it’s looking like fires might derail us somewhat.

Finally got an alpine ride in. Big descent in telluride in the rain this morning. Last pic taken as I’m collecting my thoughts where I landed.

The scenery looks awesome. The riding not so much.

Wasatch/Bear? Which route did you take to get there? Love that area but not sure I'd want to drop Wasatch in the rain!

    Wildfire smoke obscuring views here.
Anybody have a guess what critter this belonged to? It’s about 6” long. There’s lots of deer, elk, jackrabbits, rock chucks, coyotes and cougars in the area.

Yes. From the top of gondola up See Forever to wasatch connect. Ski area service road of about 1600ft which sucked. I think I followed most of the access rules, but they were confusing. Waved to everyone I saw and no one told me I was doing it wrong.

Rain turned type 2 fun into survival cycling. Still fun.

SORCA had the ribbon cutting for the new skills park here in Squamish last week, took the opportunity for a couple mid day laps...ironically, the event was primarily for everyone who's contributed and the park has been packed with kids since the day it opened, there were ZERO kids there for the duration of the event! Nice to have clear track laps! haha

Unfortunately, so has spider web season.
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.
