Not sure if this belongs here... First attempt at filming mountain bikers, filmed using GoPro and a 3-axis Gimbal. I feel like this footage is pretty stable considering its pretty rutted in spots. Video is a little long just didnt know what to take out when and where. Pretty flowy trail and decent light pretty stoked to go out and try some other angles next week.

Went left instead of right today and I am pretty sure we ended up on Copperhead Road.

Is this the big block Dodge?

The old truck wasn't too far from here.

Shortly after leaving the hunt camp, we heard more gunfire than seemed appropriate, so turned around. Hatfields and McCoys?

I think we'll start just a bit earlier then everyone else - like say 1 hour earlier then hang out in the alpine. DItto Keystone

On Frisby, you want to be going down after everyone's reached the top. That way you can rip it without any pesky climbers interrupting your flow. It's best in the evening, or at night with a headlamp.

Anyways, here's two recent pics from the Revy alpine. First is Frisby, second is Keystone.

Did a 20-miler around Jackson this weekend, 3000 feet of climbing was definitely a personal Strava record for this East Coast JONG. View from the top of Ferrins/Snow King:

And another from the top of the West Fork of Game Creek. Finally found out where that one photo that was the cover photo of the Bike mag article about the Tetons was taken (this was the spot). 5 mile downhill followed, although it was an epic battle to keep the shoulder-high wildflowers/overgrowth from grabbing your bar ends and pulling you into the weeds:

Recovery day involved lots of beer aboard the Red October, a stout orange vessel built by the trusted dockhands over at Jackson Hole Kmart. Free wilderness sighting!

I was stoked the rain stopped. Then it poured for like 10mins and turn the trails to a sloppy mess. It was fun watching my dog try and take high speed corners in the mud, spin out and beater.

People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.
