I've been having a blast on this borrowed bike this last week.

Who needs full squish when you have a honzo with plus tires?

    No one.

Agreed. That pic required significant staring time.

First MTB group ride of the year tonight. trail selection is limited and my mtb needs some work before I can ride it so I took the cross bike.

Been doing plenty of riding lately but not so much posting of pics. Here's a few to catch up!

Rode Anderson Truck Trail a few nights ago.

The Forest Service was scheduled to decommission the roads up top and ATT proper. They had agreed to leave a singletrack in place. From what I had been hearing I expected fully re-contoured slopes with just a small bench remaining.

Instead they basically just sent a mini excavator part way down the trail, took scoops out of the trail bed every 4-5 ft and dropped the scoops in between the holes. Then piled brush on top. There was no re-working of the slope, so they basically just made a mess and left us with a single singletrack line. So basically trails are still fully open, no real impact to us.

Lots of after work rides once days were getting a bit longer. Now the time has changed, it's on!

I'm in Brevard for a few days this week.... Pisgah and Dupont are both super fun, in very different ways.

    Some great photos!

I didn’t take any, but I went on the nicest full moon ride, sans lights last night.

Been riding a lot lately, not a ton of pictures and no mtb rides yet though

This was from Sunday, Missoula - Alberton - Petty creek - Lolo loop. About 80mi, little muddy on the dirt but that's why I brought the CX bike with 32s.
