Really great spot to stop for a pedal between Santa Fe and Denver near Trinidad, CO. I’m not a huge fan of machine built, but this 7 mile chunk in Fisher Peak State Park was really well built. Worth a stop for sure. Hardly anyone out there today.

That looks promising, didn't know about those trails. Safe to assume you did Fisher Peaks>Poison Canyon?

More stretching the legs near Buffalo, WY. Nice convenient poke not far from town.

High tide in the southern PNW … that wondrous time of year when you have both unlimited traction and unlimited speed. Earlier in the season it can be buttery smoove but also the moist soft soils can rob your speed. So so good right now.

    This bench saves lives.
    Needles Country Store.
Once last bit of under-trained Iron Horse anxiety training yesterday.
Destroyed a bag of Dill Pickle Kettle Chips and a Red Bull on this bench on the way back to town from Coal Bank Pass yesterday.

As the deer come closer (herds of 10 or more walking down the neighborhood streets is a common sight) the mountain lions are following.
Lots of sightings this year already.
This trail is right below a busy street.
