A quick road ride this morning before my buddy had to go to work.
19 miles, 2200 ft of climbing (starting at 7050' and climbed to 9250') 60*, sunny, brand new tarmac on the climbing road, no traffic.
    Good Day!

I've been messing up this past month, been getting off night shift at 5am and going right to sleep. Should have been going for a ride every morning. Fixed things yesterday.

Had a nice crash at speed, probably the most elegant 2 wheel washout ever. Really thankful the bush I slid into wasn't a cactus. All the damn trails here are like riding on marbles. Need to head up north soon.

Dirt is choice right now. Trails are buffed out. Temps are mellow. Cool mornings. At least the riding is good!

That onramp looks like it wants to be a foot back to make that more hippy.. Looks fun as the rock wall ride too though.

First time riding the Mount Helena Ridge trail today for my 14 year-old daughter. She's hiked it a couple times and thought this was waaaay better.

First ride this season on this years so far hottest day, after the ski season that never seemed to end. Still a bit of snow above 500 MASL, but otherwise dry and awesome.'

Damn, fairly new to cycling and have a hybrid and a road bike, but this is the first time I'm poking my nose in this forum. Those dirt trails look like a lot of fun, but pretty sure if I got a mountain bike I'd be a pile of broken bones pretty quickly. Scenery out there is truly amazing. Quality of life must be off the charts when you can get in rides like that after work and on the weekends.

Go forth and ride, then bring back pics

Finally got around to sessioning the local jump park yesterday. Pretty fun spot with some big senders to work up to.

I'm doing mostly road rides on weekends now that Tahoe is absolutely FULL of tourists. It's busier than I've seen it in 11 years here. At least the roads are still nice.Click image for larger version.

GF has been dealing with some respiratory issues and vocal cord disfunction, so we’ve been gradually adding mileage and elevation to our rides. She pushed through some tired legs and anxiety to get to a fun descent today.
