Not sure why pics above aren't showing up.... they work on another local forum.

It was completely clear when I left the house. I had a great view of the partial eclipse, but by the time we got to the top of the hill and the eclipse was total, a solid bank of cloud moved in.

It was still a fun ride. And I watched the moon rise while grilling last night.

    Ride last weekend

On Sunday I took the moto up Black Mtn near Ramona and did some other exploring

The local club is starting design soon on a project which will eventually have 80mi of MTB trail in the valley below. Looks like the higher trails will have an ocean view

70mi total ride, only saw a handful of other motos and vehicles

Left the bike outside last night.

Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

Got out last Saturday for the first ride of the season up here in north Idaho. Nice thing is that it's been warm and rainy. I'll get a few more rides in this week before I get shreddy on the skis this weekend

Finally got up the gumption to send the big drop on Barrel. Thing’s been taunting me for years. Loving SoUt this winter. Temps and dirt have been good in the Salt Lake Valley too though. Bobsled’s the best it’s been in two years, d’oh!

Frame grab from vid so not the best quality but...

Resting on the couch with a bag of frozen peas now. Weather just turned colder but not much snow in the forecast so good timing to get snipped, hahaha.

Nice dude! We're headed that way in two weeks. I need to get Sam on Barrel. Have you ridden AMA? Otter was telling me about it last week, but besides a few clips on youtube I haven't found much info so I assume its less than official. Looks cool though. If you know where it starts shoot me a PM.

Less than official. I scoped it out last week and found a couple lines. I think there are three top to bottom lines. Some sketchy moves and some big jumps. The right (east) line is pretty straightforward until the bottom, below KLC. Cool stuff to work on though. Definitely puts St. Geo on the map in terms of progression for me.

Here’s Steve on the east line, like I said, pretty straightforward until you get down to the bottom. The west lines are bigger and sketchier. There’s stuff all through that area. Then there’s Logan’s DH line off the back too.

I would have too by now if it weren't for the kiddo's unbridled enthusiasm and total indifference to shit-fuck conditions.

Would certainly be down to go for a rip with the woo child!

Is the the stuff that goes down through the middle of the KLC loop?

Sick bike! I like the paint job. I was curious about that rear shock tho. Is it mounted into the frame?

Well, this was when things were still frozen. Slop mud season now, so I've been hitting the wifes rowing machine and walking the dog a bunch. 'Gonna try some trail tomorrow and see if things have dried enough, at least in some of the higher and more well drained areas.

Yeah, it's sort of in a little pocket. Similar to how some of the Specialized bikes mount them, but a dit deeper into the tube. It's a pretty freakin' wide TT at that back end to get it to fit. Not at all bothersome though. $699 for the frame was a happy deal. It's exactly what I was after.

Wife's new birthday bike. It sat for a couple of weeks while we skied and was used as a clothes hanger but finally we got a chance to ride
