How was the Mill Creek section? Overgrown or reasonable?

And climbing to Deadman's is a burly addition to that ride from town, geez.

Once or twice a year you need that type 2 fix!

We are going up where? Up there?

Where is the climbing trail? This is all hike a bike!

Hey brah, I don't see any berms...there is no flow, absolutely none

    Where is the jump line?

Wow, the human-built stuff is very impressive and that final slab/wall ride thingy is super cool.

Brush was reasonable, but it's not the same since the fire. Parts where there's no bench and it's loose and you're going through the bushes and just trying to stay on the trail. I think it could use a trailwork day or two. or some more tires on it maybe. It's also like the ground just sank a few inches, I suppose from organic material burning off, leaving a lot more roots across the trail on the upper flatter part. Carlton ridge trail is great though, and the rocks at the bottom are much more fun on the new bike.

And, yeah, going to blue mtn after made it a big day. We have this distance/vert challenge thing going and it's gotten a little out of hand

Once more week and I can take a day off.

A lap around Buff Creek last weekend -- Nice Kitty - Little Scraggy - Shingle Mill. It was good now that the smoke is slowly dissipating.

Summer came back for a brief moment after a period of what definitely felt like "the turn", with very cold temperatures. Probably the last warm day of the year. Had to sneak off early from work to get a ride in while the sun was still up. Superb conditions today.
