Go forth and ride, then bring back pics

I'm sick of all this snow tomfoolery and this forum being dead because of it. I'm sorry but 20" is not enough to ski on, unless you really want to end your season before it begins with a stupid injury.

Your mission: go get some excellent tacky trail this weekend and take lots of sick photos. Then post them on Monday. That is all.

not sick action shots, but here's something:

This old dude was throwing down all sorts of very cool trials moves all over the trail today.

This leaf covered landing was not so hot; slowed me up for hitting the nice little booter that comes right around the corner of said landing. Hit it, but not nearly as fast as I'd wanted.

Still riding, but can't take the camera. Sent the day pack back to DaKine for more repairs. The first time I sent it they repaired all the seams, but didn't put the ski retention strap on. Turnaround time was quick though, so i should have more pics before the ski season actually begins. It'll take a couple days before the snow melts off the trails anyway.

I suggest you go back to the ski forum and look up the Baker TR
(I assure you it is more than a 20" base above 4500 feet)

Yeah...those are pretty cool I guess. I guess I'm jealous and stuff. And I'm even in the PNW this weekend. But the riding is pretty damn good right now.

I wish I could get in another ride soon. Took a bad fall hauling ass two weeks ago and my bike needs a ton of work (re: $$$) so I think i'm gonna have to enjoy the bounty of white stuff falling.

If you're in the PNW and want to hit some singletrack, there is an intriguing ride I've got on the top of my list to hit out in the Olympics - Mt. Muller. Description on bbtc.org trail site. The camping nearby also sounds as impressive as the trail might be!

Drop by for some beers if you're in Seattle. Enjoy the riding.

I totally agree with you. We'll be in Moab two weeks from now.

Eff the snow, we need some sort of fall....actually, this makes me mad that it's snowing and people are skiing, whatever happened to the super sweet days of fall and all the beauty it brings? Why can't people just wait a second for winter!??

winter is the beauty that fall brings. screw the foreplay, lets get it on.

Or, just come to Tahoe and enjoy an entire week of heavy petting fall splendor.

It's a long way off but they're talking about a big storm beginning of next week.

    Your wish is my command.

    Xmas Valley
Didn't have a backpack for the camera, so I attached it to the front of my camelbak. I was worried about it flying up and hitting my face or obscuring my vision. That wasn't the problem. It did start to feel like a medicine ball being repeatedly thrown at my stomach in the rocky sections.
