Hero dirt in the backyard still! Epic progression from my wife this season, hit a drop she’s been eyeing up for a while today.

December indeed... Mighty Timpanogos barely sporting any white on the W slopes. Bone dry dirt on the front side, hardly any snow on the shady N aspects. Oh well...

Finally winter here. Singletrack yesterday and a solid Montana road ride today.

It's been taking long enough, but this might be the best fat bike snow I've ridden. More, please!

New janky roll in at DJ spot near my house. Decided not to trust unknown teenage labor, though shaking it seemed way more solid than it appears. Leads into a triple set of doubles which I’ve only sacked up for the first one.

Your area looks a lot like Flagstaff. Great photo, you gotta love some good air and dog stoke!

Absolutely no way I’m climbing up there, especially w my bike. Got to love the fearlessness and invincibility of youth.

Unfortunately it’s tough to get run-in speed for first double w/o though hence this. Oh well I shouldn’t be jumping anyway.

Yeah, no good can come from janky shit like that. The jumps probably aren't built well, either.

Jumps actually aren't too bad. First one in the pic is pretty mellow, following two are look good, but haven't hit them given speed generation issue. Applaud their attempts, earlier version of this (which is a mile from my house) were definitely much more mellow and would take my kids over sometimes for the rollers/berms that are now gone. The new janky ramp is mostly b/c the longer run-in had a gigantic tree fall on it, so they built the jank ladder to compensate for shorter run-in.

Regardless not hitting these unless the whole area gets re-worked, too much risk for too little pay-off.
