At gooseberry now. Anyone know a good area to escape the incoming cold front? Looks like a quick storm.

Doesn't need to be mountain biking

    shitty.

With the very significant caveat that I've never ridden there, it's a bit more of a drive from you, and I have no idea what the weather looks like, I've heard Ely Nevada actually has some pretty fun riding.

Gotcha, I thought more amenable camping weather for a day was the goal. If it's just going to be too cold and windy to ride I'd probably go hike in Zion or Eagle Crags/Canaan.

If you are staying in Hurricane area the hike into the Subway from the top is worth doing. Just go into the first rap. go to Pa Tempe Hot Springs I do not think the security cameras are real.

I guess that depends if we're talking tent, or hard sided camper with a heater. But yeah, I checked the weather there. Not real warm.

There is a cool Hot Springs in Veyo, although call to see if it's open or got burnt down this year in a forest fire. Lotsa super cool hikes in Zion of course like Angels Landing, or camp at Coral Pink Sand Dunes to catch the sunrise/sunset. Hilldale is always a weird place to drive thru, too.

Local trails are ~90% dry dirt, but studs are very welcome on the other 10%.
