Yep. Some hike a bike sections, at least for me. I'm sure GB can clean most if not all of it. The downhill sections were worth it especially Hunter's. Great views out there.

That looks like a fun ride, nice pics too. Any beta for a first timer up there? I skied with the Powder Addiction cat op there two winters ago, but it never crossed my mind to bring up the bike.

Start at Jones Pass, and go south towards Herman Gulch. What you see above is most of the climb, then it's downhill for ~5 miles.

Generally lots of rocks and technical sections with exposure, so there was plenty of hike-a-bike. Some flowy sections but not as much as, say, Kenosha Pass to Georgia Pass. It's mostly a hiking trail after all...

Cool, thanks. I was thinking it might be fun to do that ride and scope out some potential lines for the winter.

On my evening ride I found this nice little fishing spot.
Its the very north end of Verdi on the Truckee River, someone just cut down all the growth by the river to create this spot (Hard to find) qinda desolate

Just road that this afternoon. So fun.... So much like big mtn skiing at the end.
Flying the Bluehouse colors in Western Canada! Let me know if you want some rad skis!!

"He is god of snow; the one called Ullr. Son of Sif, step son of Thor. He is so fierce a bowman and ski-runner that none may contend! He is quite beautiful to look upon and has all the characteristics of a warrior. It is wise to invoke the name of Ullr in duels!"
