Cool bike plugboots. Can it fit a dropper post? Already a sub 25 lbs bike so the weight will not be an issue.

Does it feel like a flexy noodle in rock gardens? I tried Ti stem and post back in my xc days but never liked the feel. Looks like Ti handlebars as well. Those really felt flexy to me.

I missed the cutoff for signing up for it by about a week or else I'd be out there right now...I've been wanting to ride that route for about the past 5 years, next year for sure, you should come out!

It rained hard all afternoon/night on our first day so we had to abort our intended route because of impassable rivers. We bailed and took the train back to our car and sat next to a dude that was heading home after dropping out of the 550, he said all the rivers were running super high and he didn't want to mess with them.

Well it’s flexy, but for me, I think, in a good way. Also it’s less Flexy than earlier versions I’ve ridden, so they’ve figured some stuff out. The fork is super stiff and directional so it compensates a little bit, plus that thick plate of Ti that is the chain stay keeps the rear straight, (no side to side motion). It’s perfect for Northwest dirt. Yeah, it’ll fit a dropper post. Not really needed for where I primarily ride it.

Beat me to it. Except I was going to say 5 mph. I bet if he waxed it, it'd add another 2.

I'm a bit behind, sorry. Hope you will forgive me. Haven't been as stoked on carrying the camera around but looking back the phone shots the past month or so have been pretty good.
