I guess it looks like a shadow, but that's a bruise on the outside of my palm and my pinky is 1.5x it's normal size.

Go forth and ride, then bring back pics

A few trails have finally dried up enough to ride, however forecast calls for 20-40cm over next couple days. Oh well, back to Powtown!

So many trees down from the winter storms.

I think that’s more of a concern for climbers than bikers. Can’t really picture how it would happen in a bike crash.
I ski 135 degree chutes switch to the road.

I was thinking the same thing. Serious issue in the construction industry, but with a pair of riding gloves on, I have a hard time picturing it as well.

Not degloved, but solid break catching my ring on something during a ski wreck. Also have some nerve damage on wrist from a metal Watch band getting yanked during an earlier wreck. No more shiny metal things for me

I used to climb at a crag where one of the big jugs on a route had a ring permanently stuck behind it. I imagine it was painful getting that stuck.

I downsized ring width so it didn't get caught on things as much. Maybe I'll just need to wear it as a pendant on a chain or something... it'll go with the graying chest hair.

Most silicone rings are designed to break before they rip your finger off.

Except they're tacky and stupid, IMVHO. I offered to go the tattoo route after I found out the Ti ring the jeweler sold me on is a finger death trap and I quit wearing it. She didn't go for it.

    I haven't seen one I liked yet.

Can I get an ironic tribal finger tat?
