I started riding back in the early 90s in high school and used to ride one trail specifically. Went back with my wife today to ride the trail again and see what had changed.

Much of the trail was the same but the bikes have become much more capable - making this trail feel really mellow. Still really fun trip down memory lane.

Go forth and ride, then bring back pics

Found a trail we’d never ridden a few miles from home.

Every time I stumble across one of these little, mostly inaccessible lakes out on a ride I want to stop and try some fishing, but I never bring my fishin’ pole.

Always love finding new trail right near our home. Biking or hiking. We started hiking s trail I’ve biked a few times a decade or so ago. Amazing views and perfect length/very for an afternoon family outing. First time we hiked it this spring we were wondering why we had never done it before.

Nice ride. Can't believe I'm complimenting a water bottle but damn that looks slick.

I know. I work with what I have.

I still can't do a proper table, either.

    I am ashamed.

This morning’s pre-work rip. I’ve got a thing for trails with grass growing in the tread.

Love seeing that wee little ribbon of a barely trail. Such a stark contrast to the sidewalks being built nowadays.

Not a picture and not mine but I think it's inspirational enough to go in here:

I've been run off the trail at Whistler by Kohut a few times. Since he can't pedal and needs to conserve momentum he won't slow down. He used to be able to clear all the jumps on A-line. Looks like its harder now they're larger and reconfigured.

He's an old buddeh. I was there on his first go on that bike in the 90's. We used to tow him up mt norquay ,in banff, with a rope off the back of the van and then through town up for rimrock trail laps. Tourists used to get a laugh especially when we saw the cops and he'd have to swing way off the side so the van block the view of him. He was quick from the get go but he's super fast through the turns now and still progressing. Good to see. Should ve seen him on a sit ski. Ultra fast. Toughest dood on wheels
