I'd certainly ride that trail, and in fact I ride one weekly that is a dead ringer for it. But it's definitely not glorious to me. Different strokes.

Well, sounds like Uncle Danno isn't getting an invite to the next Gnar-B-Q.

Haha. Not for everyone but I love it. Been on the backcountry downhill train this summer. Gonna keep rolling as long as possible. Think I hit 30k vert for September today

Could you please reveal the location of this Root-tastic route? PM if you don't want it search-able. I'd be forever grateful.

No, this is our guide... he does over-exaggerate sometimes for the pictures, but that's mostly how he rides. And he'll ride circles around just about anyone out there, so I'd hardly call him a beater.

Do you ride downhill standing up with your elbows straight? I guess I was doing it wrong all along.

Why do you need a guide to ride a bike? Trailforks down?
The west is full of bullshit posers, it gets tiresome.

Sometimes I feel like being way up behind the ski hill as it's getting dark isn't always smart but it makes a pretty solid sub 2hr gravel loop
