Last night’s plan was to ride a classic off on the horizon but as almost everywhere was sitting under a dark cloud I gambled on this beauty of a 2 trail loop (that can actually handle the wet around here) and won!

we went out to cliff creek today but it had apparently rained there today bc it was peanut butter mud
a few good miles though before we had to spin
We hadn't been back on that rd since the fire but the burn area didnt go back as far as we thought- maybe 1.5- 2 miles whereas the cliff creek trail head is 7 miles back

Up in Whistler this week, first visit here. Bike park is all it's hyped up to be. As someone who rides mostly XC and has a 140mm bike, this is a very nice change of pace. These DH bikes are cheating! Conditions today couldn't be better after a bit of rain.

Road the Flume Trail in Tahoe for the first time. Uphill jaunt to the lake was brutal on my flat lander lungs. View was amazing.
