Lotsa rocks. Very little flowy stuff. Scant on vert.
Updownupdownupdownupdown. Bits of high speed mixed with slow tech. Is an aquired taste.
But fantastic if you like that sort of thing.

I travel to ride other spots/lifts when needing a hit of the other.

I hit a whole 2k of climbing the other day, over 13 miles. Short and steep punchy climbs and descents. Oh, and extremely slimy roots/rocks with any bit of moisture. And crazy fucking humid in the summer. I'm selling it really well aren't I?

Riding MTB’s in CT is like banging yer head on a wall. Way too bony. Wanna know why no one and I mean no one, goes to CT to ride MTB’s? Because it sucks, that’s why. Rhode Island of all places has a much better scene for MTB’s. CT is the one State in New England that lacks good MTB riding. It’s good for tennis and golf though, so I guess that’s cool, I think, or not.

Nice I miss Hartman’s. I lived in Gunny and CB from 92-95 and loved riding there. I feel like Hartman’s is totally unknown and under rated for how much fun it is.

Yeah, pretty much the opposite of anything I've ever ridden. Sometimes you just need some strange. And it looks way more fun than anything flake ever posted.

Methinks that's the "God damn it I pussed out on that big feature again" walk of shame. I can definitely sympathize; BTDT.

I was in full leaf peeper mode today. Couldn’t help it. I also had my very first close encounter with a bear. Came around a corner to find a big black bear staring at me 20 feet away. We were both confused as to what should happen next, but he just lumbered off the trail into the brush.

New England is about to POP. Drought all summer probably means a quick turn to brown. Then the leaves drop. Not much time left here before the sea of leaves swallow the single track for the winter.

Lol, love the full enduro 12oz set up.
So, remind me again why CT sucks?
I thought that looked like fun.

    .

Love all the Fall colors riding shots.
My favorite ride season for sure!
