I love the biking pictures, but if we don’t get some snow, the smoke is going to be unbearable this summer.

Or it could be like some past years where all of our precip comes in the form of rain, (or very late). Only time will tell. 🤞

Trails are mostly too wet after a series of storms but I finally got the hardtail built up and took it on a gravel ride.

Curious, mostly road, bring your own bike? I have a buddy that says it’s the best bass fishing in the world.

I’m going to the Bahamas next week and we always ride, but it’s just beach cruising.

mixed bag - everything from smooth road to dirt/mud, with a some hurricane destroyed broken concrete chunder that shakes water bottles loose and makes you wish you had some suspension. we brought our gravel/touring bikes with 700x50c tires.

Not sure if I've ever rode my bike in January before. A little mud but got a decent bit of singletrack in.

Absolutely stellar two day stretch of riding with the boys! No such thing as a shitty season when you can just switch sports. We're making it work.

Even more so after last week's few inches of rain. Looking like it should be another awesome late winter and spring San Diego riding. Snow in the mountains too.

I know. I was solo night riding not far from there late summer and ran into a Cougar on the trail. We both looked at each other and it took off into the woods.

Quick dog lap on Amasa/Hymasa before a lower Ahab lap (see whale in background) on my way home from SLC. Perfect pit stop.
