Did a fun lap down Palm Canyon yesterday with a few friends. Big storm on Friday meant snow and sloppy conditions up top then hero dirt the rest of the way.

Best time to ride is when the local mountains are covered white

Haven't seen the longhorns here in years

MacAskill making us look at the terrain through a new lens.

Did the classic route down Hahn Buena Vista and Goat trails

Wildhorse with snow-capped San Gorgonio as a backdrop

    Happy ending

Until Dom's handlebar met rock here and sent him flying. Had to tell his wife he tried to punch out an e-biker. But you should have seen the other guy!

Awesome photos Evdog, dry dirt seems so alien deep into winter in Idaho. Love the photo ogling the slabs.

Nice pics & stoke. Hope we can ride together if I make it down to SoCal this spring.

Before I started doing this, nobody told me it’s really a nighttime sport.

For sure, give me some notice when you might be heading down. I'm recently out of work and not planning to be around a whole lot but will have some flexibility on when trips happen.

Most of my riding lately has been out to and back from work sites. And test riding new construction. Much stoke there....

Had to run to GJ today and the forecast called for a high of 63. No complaints!

Nice!! I may have to do a little road trip to the junction. I drove out to Hartman’s today to take a look, 42 degrees has got me jonesing, it’s going to be a bit for it to dry out.

Depending how much rain/snow we get tonight, I'm guessing we can't be more than a couple weeks out from dry trails in Montrose. I'm ready for some after work rides!

i told my wife I was going to ride my bike into work today and headed out to try a new route.

Turns out a race was going on when I got to the trailhead, but thankfully it wasn't on the trails I planned to ride. I always feel good about my life decisions when I pass a bunch of vans/motorhomes at trailheads I pedaled to.

It was a cloudy day but I enjoyed the trail - Ernie's Extra at Bootleg Canyon. It was the last blue trail in the system that I hadn't ridden and was about a bit flowier than average but wasn't exactly a relaxing ride.

Almost made it! Or not. The buildings in the middle of the picture are where I work. At this point the trail turned and went back up hill rather than going in the direction I was heading.

Dialing in the new pony today. Someone should by my DH bike cause Banshee’s new linkage makes it very difficult to justify owning one.

The bike came in last week. My first new mountain bike! The borrowed 2010 stompjumper did its job of getting me hooked on the sport and is going back to its owner.
