Took a fall loop trip around a bit of WA this past weekend. Started Saturday with a quick skin up Stevens to ski grass and bushes with everyone else.
Then found some good fall color out the Lake Wenatchee Highway
Was staying in Leavenworth so wanted to hit up Freund Canyon. That had a couple inches of snow too so the "ride" consisted of me pushing my bike a half mile up the fire road then gingerly riding it down. Got a few more fall pics though.
Sunday morning was cold and clear so escaped the snow down in the Sage Hills outside Wenatchee. Smooth single track and nobody around. Did about a 3 hr ride then drove the loop of 97 to 90. Checked out the Coal Trax MTB park outside Cle Elum. The place is OK but needs a lot of maintenance. Didn't have time to ride the longer trails out there but will be back in Spring to check that out. There sure is a lot of riding in this state I need to get to.
