A week+ and no posts, does no one ride bikes anymore?

Checking out some stuff this weekend. Even found some nice desert singletrack

2 feet of snow last week, it’s going to be a while before we’re riding dirt again...

Went out for a quick ride yesterday. 50 degrees, sunshine and a little wind isn't too bad for mid February.

One of the perils of riding in the desert is dealing with tumbleweeds clogging up the trail. This one took about 10 minutes to clear.

Pretty much - Eagle Rock. PCT goes right past it as does another trail I was exploring.

Finally, first three day stretch without rain since...almost 2 months, and look, I get a new addition on my local trail.

Skiing in the afternoon and seeing what’s dry in the evening. Not much yet but it’s enough to mess around.

Dirt, we don’t need no stinking dirt.

    Rudy’s always ready to go!
Makes me feel guilty for skiing so much.

Started the day at Wintergreen. Pics seemed pointless. It looks like a crap snow year in the Mid Atlantic. They can make it like crazy though so not a terrible morning on skis.

Then a quick trip over the Mountain to Sherando for the first MTB ride of the year. Forgot to grab the phone.

I suck at the bring back pics requirement.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

Had to go up to LA today. Found myself driving back through OC with enough time for a ride and happened to have my bike on board. So.....

Did a few laps in Laguna beach. Aptly named Car Wreck Tr

    Oak Grove Tr.

Apparently there are lots of caves in the park. If this was SD there would be a face spray painted over this cave

Either I picked the right route to coincide with sunset or I had no clue and just lucked out by running out of daylight and having to close the loop across the ridge top

Either way not a bad way to end the day

    The views, of course, sucked

Tacos at El campeon in San Juan capistrano on the way home.

Dang that third pic is sick Dan. I have never looked that cool on a bike, but that’s not really saying much. Talented little guy.

Third Pic is his buddy Carter, kid rips. #2 and #4 are his other friend River. So fun to watch these kids tear it up.
