Peak district ride round Lady Bower reservoir. Prepping up for the Ard Rock enduro race.
Photo of the plane is the Lancaster bomber famous for the dam busting in Germany. It was performing a fly over for the 75th anniversary of D day. It practiced dropping its bombs on the Lady Bower Res in the warClick image for larger version.

Not a remarkable photo until you hear that this is my first ride in Missoula after finally moving here from Iowa. Long-time plans to move back to my home state of Montana finally coming to fruition. Nice to new back in the mountains permanently.

The Colville NF has some fine trails. Of course some want to make the Kettle Crest and Abercrombie/Hooknose areas into Big W. Sigh...

I sure hope youíre right. But The Colville sure reminds me of where I grew up in Libby, MT during its peak logging days. Never thought anyone would care where I rode my bike growing up, but boy is this whole state (MT), fucked now with mountain bike access issues. WA does seem a lot more pro bike though, maybe thatís a reason we keep going back there to pedal. Fuck that dirtís good!
