Snuck down to the desert for a few days of riding. Nice break from the snow and cold.
It sucks to suck.

Rode around St. George over the weekend. Warm temps, sunny skies...and snow back at home in SLC
Rode Barrel in Santa Clara then a quick Turtle Wall/Paradise Rim in the Red Rocks Preserve, right near the house. Perfect ride for Sam! He pedaled uphill with almost no complaining, mostly because he knew the downhill was coming. Trying to get him to be a more diverse rider. Also, explaining to an eight year old that riding uphill will make him a better downhill and BMX rider and jumper was too confusing. He kept asking how that even makes sense.

Seemed like a pretty slow and long winter but I've been out a reasonable amount
Cross bikes work ok in the snow as long as it's really hard packed. This weekend I got out on the road bike for the first time
I guess I should figure out what mtb tires to buy and get my brakes bled because we'll be riding on trails pretty soon.Last edited by jamal; 03-12-2018 at 11:43 AM.
