    Most overrated actor

Robert DeNiro. Has this guy ever played anything besides a sociopath?

Brad Pitt. Just acts the same in every damn movie, sometimes a little more manic than before.

    Barbra Streisand.
C'mon she's the same in evry movie she's been in, same character for 20 yrs.

    Keanue Reeves.
Or however you spell it, he's still the same actor from Bill and Ted, the only script that was written that he could actually comprehend. Watching him on the screen using words far beyond his ability to grasp them is what gives him such inquisitive faces. He sucks.

You're kidding me. How about Heat, Midnight Run, Casino, Copland, and Backdraft to name a few. The guy is fucking brilliant.

    Calling you on this one.

Pitt's not bad in my book, but I wouldn't classify him as overrated, has won anything for acting? His greatest role was probably
A River Runs Through It, and that's really just been hyped by hysterical chics. Decent actor, but not falling into many critics accolades as a great actor by any means.

Nicolas Cage has a rollercoaster of a carrer, good movies mixed in with bad. To his credit,

Fast Times, his part was small, but c'mon it was Fast times!

Raizing Arizona, one of the funniest movies ever, unlike anything that was being made at the time.

Moonstruck, not a big fan of this one, but chics dig it.

Leaving Las Vegas, this is a powerful movie, want a reason to get on the wagon? Check it out, you'll be dry in two hours.

City of Angels, kind of mushy, but definitely a good movie.

8mm, Cage gets more than he would ever want, this is a fucked up film but he has a solid performance in it.

Adaptation, it's a bit of a trick playing identical twins, great writing and fantastic acting by Cage.

Nic Cage is a great actor, IMHO.

And I have to say that Brad Pitt is pretty good. Watch Legends of the Fall, Seven and Snatch. Three very different rolls, three great jobs.

    Kevin Costner...period.

Dances with Wolves and Fandango are the only legs he has to stand on, and neither is in the same ballpark as:

Legend of the Fall / Seven = Pitt

Godfather / Dog Day Afternoon / Carlito's Way = Pacino

And there's not enough room to post everything Deniro's done.

I would tend to agree about Cage, Raising Arizona is his saving grace.

...not to mention the fact that the native americans did all the acting in "Dances".
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

Bing! Bing! While he was awesome in Bull Durham and pretty good in Field of Dreams, he has stunk up every other movie he has done. To this day, I still hold that Waterworld is the biggest pile of steaming dogshit that has ever hit the silver screen. And in said movie he uttered the worst line ever written and did so in the most bland/monotone manner in history. The line... "I want the girl." When I saw/heard that, I wanted to reach through the screen and strangle him to death. Just thinking about it makes me angry. Note that this movie was followed by such gems as "the Postman" and "3000 miles to Graceland."

And don't forget how he screwed up JFK just by showing up. And, oh yeah, the Untouchables. Had me rooting for Al Capone.

Russell Crowe(no range, needs a bad guy role)
Harrison Ford(I think that confusion look just bothers me)
Bruce Willis(he's probably drunken method-acting as we speak)
Tom Fucking Cruise(does this need explanation?)

I hated brad pitt till I saw 12 monkeys. Now I just shut the hell up. Nic cage has had a good career, but I rarely get much inspiration out of him. Most of the time I feel he plays the same whiny or overly moral guy thrown into this weird situation. But thats just me.

can "over the top" be used for a dude who rips not lines, but kilos of blow off his desk until he's so numb he can't feel the bullets ripping him apart?
