    I got a few decent photos from Yellowstone and Jackson Hole last June but pre equinox so going with this as my favorite photo representing this ski season as it went down in the mid atlantic.. Still some turns out there but here's what I'll remember..

    Boy Scout ski trip to WinterPlace, WV. Most of the parents tried to back out when the forecast left no doubt about `100% rain all day Saturday. Kids DGAF!
    Photo from the lodge at our late afternoon check in.

    They went back out for another two hours after that until dinner time. I went back out after dinner, by myself hahaha.
    Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!

    Your best Picture from this winter

    Bella Coola. Unintentional, but loved how the view straight out looked clear and out the upper windows of the heli looked like we were underwater. Click image for larger version.

    ==============

    i'll play. this was last run of the 2nd day mid-april when the temps reached the 80s in vermont. the place was roaring to the sound of rushing water as trails ripped in the morning faded into the mud. the season's end appeared to have snuck up on us, but somehow we pulled another month and a half and made it june1.

    bumping this up. amazing shot - and a rare one where the steepness really comes across.
