Looks like a bunch of fun chutes. You mention side country, is it a traverse back or do you hike back up? Plant a car? I may ask a lot of questions in the next few months....

It's a traverse unless you go further than the source lake drainage area (i believe its the empty spot at the right of the photo). like sq99 said, check alpental.com for the info.

Here's Alpental's trail map:

In the photo Squirrel posted you can't see the inbounds area, but it would be to the left. The jagged looking peaks are above Stoke's Bowl on the trail map.
