ahh what teh hell. pretending i'm getting sick right now just for shits.
burn my 5th (6th?) fake sick day this winter for 10" of snow that's been getting worked by 80mph winds for 72 hours?
meh. might as well give it a shot.
oh man my throat is really sore, my nose is so stuffed up.
i also have a stomachache and i'm all farty and bloated.
i've got a cold and stomach flu. weird how that always happens to me. and sometimes when it happens you can hear mormon prayer services going on in the background, but that's just the tv.

Tomorrow should be really damn good in places. I was amazed how it could be completely shitty(timbuktu) in one spot, and amazing(canyonland) in another. Lets hope tramside will be the latter.
Word of caution: Dont bring sticks you dont want to see get core shots, I was scraping quite a bit in places.

my philosphy for this season is I'll take what I can get. After the new years thaw, January artic tundra freeze, a mediocre february, and a week in Utah in March sitting under high pressure, I'll take buffed out pow. Hell, it beats work.

Tomorrow: Head honcho in town for big presentation.
Thursday: Big meeting with marketing dudes.
I would complain, but that would be a disservice to those who really can't be there.
I'll be there (Jay) Friday.
Sick and ashamed and happy (and doing all sortsa voodoo to keep the temps cool),
d.

Skied Stowe this morning off the triple and skinned up to the top of the Quad, skied Liftline.
The website was claiming 9-11", which was an outright falsehood. I spoke to a patroller who said it was actually 5" and that he'd been telling the marketing dept. to cut the shit all day. We had some creamy windbuff in spots, but there were tons of ice bumps.
Was thinking about a tour tomorrow until I just read the avy report. I don't have class until 4pm tomorrow - maybe I should hit Jay?

o.k I thought I was "out" for the season. And yeah, I know it didn't dump, but work sucks and I'm going skiing.
So, I'm heading up to Waitsfield late tonight, up 128/95 to 93 from Dover, and back Thurs. late or Fri. early. Free ride and/or futon available. Well almost, buy me a 1/2 rack and its a deal.
