i am going to start wearing basketball jerseys this upcoming season, even if it's 30 below out...then i will just wear them over my jacket. i will have one for each day of the week and i will brush my hair over my face so you cannot see my eyes.
but really, i love snowboarding (it's what i do) skiing all of the extreme retarded fashion that has sprung out of it.....and i don't care if you jib, job, joob, pow, steep, snowlerblade, ski, snowboard, snowskate, jerk yourself off in smoke shacks...i love all even the gapers from texas in there giant fur indian robes and cowboy hats. diversity makes the world go round..same with the mountain and i mean really, what would all of you do without SOMEONE to make fun of???

to start off, alpine was reporting up to 30" of fresh sierra love on their website this morning so like all of the rest of us, I had the coffee brewing, skis waxed, truck warming up, and a quick PB & J and out the door by 7:30 in hopes of getting a good waiting spot at Summit. Upon arrival there is shitload of people already there, keep in mind I was at summit at around 8:15. Whatever, its all good, we're all hungry for some serious blower. So start off the powder day as usual, slapping all the popular faces and bowls first knowing they would get trashed in no time. Petes, Spines in Sisters, beaver's bowls and spines, cathedral etc. I was bummed to realize quickly that the snowpack was terribly unstable and that there would be no munchkins M chutes for me. Got caught in an avy last year, and dont want to do it again. (WEAR A BEACON!! the fucker will save your life.) i was jealous of the mofos that did go in, i bet it was tits. anyways, as we all know, the freshies later in the day were pretty much all in estell depending on if you know your way around and where to find em. This is where the story starts......
All day, there are gapers hiking the hikes weather it was keyhole, beaver or estelle. People who obviously don't ski often, but saw where all the smart ones were going. They can't hike, after threee punches they stop to catch their breaths etc. FUCK!!!! and now the ignorant, disrespectul slowboarders. There were trains of these goons walking in obviously skier built traverses. So, I was skiing cathedral for probably my second time this morning loving the fresh lines the entire way down, SWEET! So, i'm traversing around lake estelle and in the flats there is a snowboarder sitting in the narrow track with his snowboard perpendicular to the traverse. He sees me and makes absolutely no effort to move. "WHAT THE FUCK?" So what do I do you think. I purposely ram into his precious board as fast as I can only to hear him mumble something retarded. After he gathers himself I tell him to not be a dumbass, ski smart, and be respectful to others. What response does einstein blurt, "FUCK YOU SKIER" hahaha. i almost fell over i was laughing so hard.
Snowboarding is not a big mountain tool, if you're gonna try and get the goods, which you never will cause I guarantee you a skier will get em much before you hop your sorry ass there, be respectful and stay out of the way. It's like driving in the right lane and using the left only to pass. If you want to keep up and get to all the right goodies, trade in your board for a set of sticks. More and more today I run into tons of ex snowboarders who swear to after trying skiing will never be caught dead on a board. So if you guys still hold the stupid stereotypes that skiing is not cool, think again mofo. All of you wish you could get to what your eyes see, but realize you are restricted cause your legs are tied up. Till you do the right thing, be courteus and you will recieve the same.not counting days 2016-17Comment
