    Buddy Guy

Saw Buddy last night in Jackson. Still tearin' it up! Most my BG experiences have been in a bar/club. This show was in a new theater....sit down event. Despite having to sit through a BG show the crowd was into it and the band responded!

    Go see him!

    Is he 100 yet?
Something about the wrinkle in your forehead tells me there's a fit about to get thrown
And I never hear a single word you say when you tell me not to have my fun
It's the same old shit that I ain't gonna take off anyone.
and I never had a shortage of people tryin' to warn me about the dangers I pose to myself.

    Fuck. Dudes still on tour.

Go see him before it’s too late

Seen dozens of shows in chicago at his club.

    He is the blues.

Only better blues was BB King and Albert King. That show was amazing.

I guess I took him for granted since he played so often at his club.

But damn. He influenced so many rock guitarists.

Checkerboard lounge on the south side also. Great shit there back in the day.

Jeebus; he's 82 now and still performing?? He was still killing it in his 70s, but I hope he quits while he's still ahead. BB didn't and the last show of his I saw left very bad memories.

I think you’re missing Freddie King on your list of the best.

These old bluesmen are all dead or close to it. We saw Taj Mahal a couple years ago when he was 78, looked terrible but sounded great.
