Thumbs up Please buy my share at the VT Basher Haus!

Not sure if this goes in gear swap or what. But this is a one shot plea for people to check out the Basher Haus as their future ski house. Had a lot of great years with this crew, you know most of them from the K board and a few are here too. Here is the link and description:

An established ski house on the access road now has four full shares available. (A few folks have moved out of the area.) Members are dedicated early-rising skiers from their mid 20s to mid 50s, all professionals from NY, NJ, CT and MA. Some folks are single, some are attached, some are married. We all share the love of good snowy winters!

We have a 6 BR/4 BA house that’s 5 minutes (or less) from KBL.

There is a hot tub, fireplace and ski tuning room. The share price includes heat, hot water, electricity, cable TV, internet, firewood, plowing, paper products, light housekeeping service and coffee.

We do hearty skiers’ breakfasts, and optional community dinners for those who are interested in saving a few bucks on food. House parties during the Holidays and BMMC, and when we have too much food in the fridge.

Members are guaranteed their bed for the season, in a shared bedroom. If you're a couple, we are able to give you your own room. We're also willing to do half-shares (and if you sign up another person, you can have them for a roommate).

Half shares $950, full shares $1750. House rental runs from Nov 1 (if you hike for frost) to mid-May (if you hike for patches). Sorry, no pets or minors.

PM me if you're interested or want more info.

Please help Treerat and I recoop our share deposit

Midweek usage is fine. No live-ins though. If you are purely using it midweek and no weekends or holidays, the rate is reduced.

Spanky's guested and hung out in the Basher Haus a handful of times, but is not a member there. He can vouch that's it's a pretty laid back, nice place.

It's per person. You can get a bedroom for two people though, be it a couple or two singles.

Congrats!! Seattle should be awesome, and the spring hiking season should be, well, a wee better than what we get around here. Cool that you're driving out there too!

    Congrats to Treerat as well.
