    $125 Van Halen tix

Do I want to pay $250 for a night of seeing this? I would pay less just for comedic value, but $125 a seat... i think not

How good could this be? Personally I like Hagar over DLR. Live Right Here, Right Now rocks.

Only if you get to punch DLR in the face.

    Van Hagar Fan?

That is steep. One of them will prolly land in rehad before the show anyway. So if you don't get tix, you won't have to deal with getting a refund.

Like him or not - Sammy is an entertainer, and at least he's still making an effort to put out good music.

Dave's still riding the coattails of his success 20 years ago, and hasn't changed his pants (or his attitude) since. The best gig he should hope for is playing to blue haired 80 year old women in the Nugget cabaret lounge. Sorry, but he's a fuggin HAS BEEN.

Yeah...I agree he is a bit of a "HAS BEEN" but VH to me has nothing to do with Sammy Hagar. He is an entertainer though. Just doesn't do it for me.

is this tour a go now? i thought it self-destructed shortly after the first announcement. i hope they do a euro tour.

Van Hagar is to Van Halen as snowlerblades are to skiing.

yep...the US tour is a go.

Glad I got to see them a few years ago when Ed was still trying to sober up. Good show.

The only thing keeping Ed from getting loaded again during the tour will be his son playing bass and I'm sure Val will keep Wolfgang in check. I'm sure when each show is over the VanHalens exit stage right, DLR will exit stage left to a seperate room-->limo-->jet-->midgets

Too bad they pissed off Mike though. I'd definitely go to a Hagar show again just to see Mike play. As for seeing DLR, well, he's past his prime

What in the hell does this mean?!!?!?!

Does he breathe fire? Does he juggle freshly squeezed cats out of his anus? Does he guess the weight of the entire audience and then squeeze that down to the square root of 4?

Sammy is a really likeable guy who is directly responsible for more than his fair share of really fucking cheesy music – I fail to see the entertainment value of “where eagles fly”
