Spot on man. Now is the perfect moment for a "teaser" editor to drop a real teaser just like that. Its the middle of summer, with stoke desperation at an all time high, with endless unsatisfying "teasers" consisting of quick edits, no landings, no flow and no follow through. I reckon a teaser just like you described would leave jaws on the floor and be more arresting that a blast of arctic air. It would certainly leave me with a fuckyeah-that's-what-I-miss kind of buzz rather than feeling annoyed and irritated.

But no, apparently a teaser wouldn't tease if it showed landings, ride out, continuity and flow.
