when killington closes april 13, this is gonna be THE place to be in the spring.
10am at exit 16W anyone?
and hey, they already have their theme song:
A place where nobody dared to go, the love that we came to know
They call it Xanadu
And now, open your eyes and see, what we have made is real
We are in Xanadu
A million lights are dancing and there you are, a shooting star
An everlasting world and you're here with me, eternally
Chorus:
Xanadu, Xanadu, (now we are here) in Xanadu
Xanadu, Xanadu, (now we are here) in Xanadu
Xanadu, your neon lights will shine for you, Xanadu
The love, the echoes of long ago, you needed the world to know
They are in Xanadu
The dream that came through a million years
That lived on through all the tears, it came to Xanadu
A million lights are dancing and there you are, a shooting star
An everlasting world and you're here with me, eternally
chorus
Now that I'm here, now that you're near in Xanadu
Now that I'm here, now that you're near in Xanadu, XanaduLast edited by buckethead; 06-25-2007 at 08:52 PM.

What a goddamn waste of money. There was nothing better they could have done?

Sweet, it's sponsored by Cabela's. Is there going to be an indoor trout stream stocked with rainbows and a duck hunt swamp in it too?

it is sponsored by people so rich they make mr. cabela look like a welfare case.
but ... there will be a cabela's store in the attached mall. and the rank&file at campmor was very distraught to hear it - they all assumed the big C would crush the little c, and that they'd have to find new jobs.

Yes, I can think of no more perfect spot for a Cabelas then in the beautiful and scenic Giant's Stadium parking lot.

...and no better place for the mall-rat/board rats from killington who will be searching for a cold surface on which to place their NJ asses come april 14th.

While I'll have to try that once because it's close, and the other one is in Dubai, does anyone have any idea how much power that is going to use? "We want to lessen our dependence on fossil fuels" yet we are still allowed to build this shit? WTF? But seriously, when I pull up to a Red Bull's game with my skis, I'll feel kinda awkward.
"Oh, no pics. To simulate the skiing today, walk out your door, grab a handful of snow, and throw it in your face. Repeat as necessary.
If you don't have snow outside your door, what the fuck are you living there for?"

Never been. I tended to go to the shady ones in Newark because they had Brazilians and the like.

The other places around here have #10 Russian girls bothering you constantly for dollar bills. I've fallen in love a few times.

I've not been to the UK ones but kids' parties, total beginers and park rats are the main customers.
Jumps and rails folks are really benefitting as they can practise their misty 7's (whatever that is) all year round.
