Please. I saw your "effort". A few phone calls over the course of 6 months: not effort. Not to mention that what work you did put in was rendered impotent due to the fact putting in charge of planning is like putting Roseanne Barr in charge of your fitness training. Seriously. It was that bad.

If we do Montana, is there a guarantee that Bunny will be there?

I know its all a brave new world here, but i would like to propose we do places we have not been yet.
Its a brave new world and all that.
so to sum up: summmits in order as i remember
SLC/Basin
Interior BC
Tahoe
Jackson
PNW->Whistler
Colorado
Now i have only gone to three, but it seems we should exaust options before repeating.

no, but i am in maybe we will have the energy to do more this year than just drink one beer and pass out afterwards, but i doubt it!
Oh and regarding summit, wasn't it decided on LAST YEAR that this year was Montana? Personally, I was stoked to ski montucky. Hope it is there.

My Vote is for Montucky.
I resolve PC issues remotely. Need to get rid of all that pr0n you downloaded on your work laptop? Or did you just get a ton of viruses from searching for "geriatic midget sex"? Either way I can fix them. PM Me for maggot prices.

Str8 mentioned some timeframes last year along with possible coaches, but he normally doesn't post dates until the fall. Sometime in September I think.

Part of the problem of the mini last year was the people tried to jump all around from place to place which made it hard to organize.
The summits are always well-oiled chaos anyways, and from the Maggots I've talked to, jumping around makes things to difficult.
I've only talked to a small poertion of Maggots though, maybe we shoudl figure out if people want to move around or stay in one place to start with.Originally Posted by wintermittentOriginally Posted by snowsprite

You don't mean the mini, you mean the summit. And even that was organized by some people who (ahem) put together some deals. But the real problem is that no one stepped up to organize it overall.
As it's been pointed out, moving around has worked well in the past. BC did it, PNW/W/BC did it, even Tahoe did it to an extent.
But herstory has a way of mything the point, especially when Al Gore invented the innerweb.Merde De Glace On the Freak When Ski

the more i think about it, the more i like the idea of montana..
since i can't change my vote.. you'll have to mentally deduct 1 from utah and add it to the big mo.
(yes I know MO is missouri. but montana is the big mo.)

Montana or Washington would be pretty cool.
Or Connecticut.Decisions Decisions

Summits work when someone steps up to oraganize. I'll hold my vote until we have a volunteer.
