Any clearance issues running this on an AS-X with a Sherman Breakout + on the front?

No clue...but my minions are 2.5's so I'm sure they will be fine on my fork...I run a fox 36van. Are the clearances similar to the sherman? I thoguht the breakout could handle a 2.5 tire...

Comparing 2.5 tires isn't apples to apples. A 2.5 Minion doesn't really come close to a Nevegal when it comes to width. However, I doubt you or Cant will have any clearance issues.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

I've run 2.5 DH Nevegals on a 2005 Sherman Firefly which is the same chassis essentially, I think. But it also depends on your rim width since that affects the tire profile.

The 2.5 Maxxis Minion is about the size of a 2.35 Kenda Nevegal. The 2.5 Nevegal is about the size of a 2.7 Minion. With the exception of the Ignitor, which seems reasonably sized, most Maxxis are undersized by a size-step when compared to other major companies' tires.

Hmmmm, I just ordered the 2.5's. I hope they will fit alright with my AS-X rear triangle and my Van36..I know the AS-X is supposedly only clearanced for 2.5's so if they fit like 2.7's, that is a bit of a concern.

True on some rims, not true on others. Easy mount on Mavic F219/XM321. Tight fit on Sun Rhyno Lyte, Salsa Delgado Disc, and WTB Laserdisc Trail. A little bead lube/bead wax goes a long way on those tight rims.
