I finally cleared some real doubles toward the end of the season. They were so smooth and fun, it was like, "why was I bugging all this time?" Hopefully this will be my breakout year, age 31 . Wish I'd have done it more when I was a kid, but fun doing it now.
You're Berthoud from Powmag, right?

Here's a couple:
I'm heading to MOAB on Saturday to ride Porcupine. I figure I might as well take advantage of this weather.

Have you checked out the Moab thread - there's a bunch of us heading down there this weekend. Also, if you didn't know, there's a half-marathon going on on the river road on Saturday, so it's closed to all traffic other than people on foot. I'm not sure what time it's scheduled to re-open, but definitely something to look into. We were thinking Porcupine on Saturday too, but it might have to be a later start than normal.

I also think I'm in the shallow end of the pool . . . . I need to get more daylight under my tires.A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Of course I'm at work being totally unproductive. I see this photo just as the phone rings and it's Mrs. Gadget; I'm laughing my ass off but don't dare tell her I screwing-off on the internet. Love the photo-shop work, do you offer this one in a poster?
