    Paging Tippster or video peoples

So I'm hoping that someone here can help me with a question I have or point me to a good DV forum where I can get this question answered.

I have 2 DV camcorders, both Sony, one is a TRV950 which was released about 4 years ago. Its a great little camera with 3CCD sensors and all the reviews I have read say that, at the time, it was about as close as you could get to a professional quality camera in that size. I've been very happy with it.
I recently bought a new HDR-HC7 which has a single CMOS sensor but shoots in HD. I haven't used it a ton, but in the time I have spent using it I've been pleased with its performance.
Now I'm wondering if I should keep the first one around or sell it?
What are the advantages to having a 3 sensor DV camera over a single sensor HD camera or vice versa?

The 3 chip camera likely has better low light performance than your HDV cam. Other than that............it's just a back up cam.

    What he said. ^^^

Keep it if you plan on doing any shooting in SD. Sell it if not.
