I'd put that stuff on hold. Imagine a few weeks from now when the NYC subway system is shut down, if you think this is bad.

Don't take this the wrong way Bennie, but I've always viewed your opinion as one "extreme" end of the spectrum.

SPY down 7.2%. Does that mean we will probably have a 15 minute halt at the open?

x2. I don't find Benny's view extreme on NYC. And considering the base case should now be at least mild US recession, stocks could reasonably be expected to be down 30% or worse (~2400 spx) from highs if past recessions serve any guide

Probably 2, given he takes gimmes on anything within 10’ and uses the ole foot wedge for a better lie on any shot off the fairway.

XOM popped $2 after the halt, but I ended up with a nice scalp on AMD instead.

I hope you're joking, the 3x etfs are toxic.

Instead, buy calls of you think it will go up.

    second,

although I am in them on the short side currently, I am using them mostly as a hedge vs. my 401k money that I cannot move very easily.

going a 3x long for anything more than a day trade here is bad, the bad economic numbers are beginning not about to end
