Is the stock market going to tank?

It’s my SEP IRA so long term. I’d sell it if we bounced hard and fast though.

I tried to go 100%, but I forgot I had 1/2 in a short term bond fund. Sold it, but funds not available. Probably best to keep some powder dry.

Edit. I’ll keep it. Sorry for any confusion.

I don't really have any business posting in this thread as it's mostly a foreign language to me, but I'm curious, where did you re-invest your retirement funds? Just bonds/income funds?

JPM low of $86. It was $70 pre 2016 election day.

it's mostly a foreign language to me too. I reinvested it in a target retirement fund with the target date being now, so it's in a mix of income generating stuff mostly, bond and income funds.

That is what I did, Fidelity total bond, and some off the already retired fidelity funds. Some of the funds had some stocks, so I ended up 30% stocks when I was aiming for 25%. I then tracked how much I would have made if stayed with original index funds in a google doc...was out ~$40k in earnings at one point :-o but looking smart now and get to stress about when to reenter :-)

I scooped up bofa at 3.25 from 08 crash. J.P. Morgan is tempting but there is more downside for banks . I just cancelled 5 flights, 5 car rentals and 5 hotel stays. Lots of equity lines are going to be drawn on.

JPM will be the last bank standing worldwide if it comes to that.

Doesn't the Rothschild's family still own or control some uber secret bank?

The consumer side of JPM keeps it solvent.

Ups went positive on the day.

Some buyers. But realistically, it’s still a crap shoot fellas. Very little value to be gauged in any of this. But if you lucked out, I’d be covering shorts and picking some winners.

JPM is so well run and deep CEO doesn't really matter. Like Warren B. says, he likes companies that can be run by a ham sandwich.
