Amazing Bob. Glad you exited. I sold 22P this morning and am in now at average of 2.70s. With the volatility I'm happy to hold for a couple of months to sell calls against it if assigned.

Started long position in TTE. Total Energies SA. 6% yield.

Vix Puts expired. Sold another series as I think Vix will remain high

Hey Lee, what do you think of BP? I sold mine a couple weeks ago but it looks interesting again.

I still like XOM better only because
    - more disciplined capex
    - less distraction by ESG initiatives
    - stated dedication to maintaining div.
    - and obviously at price i bought the yield is higher

Having said that I don't want to add it at this price level. I like Total SA over BP because it has a few more ties to the Euro market so looking at it as a dividend producer plus a bit overweight to Euro price over long term.

I've also got a small SU position so think I'm starting to get enough exposure to oil and gas without being too crazy. So perhaps its a bit of reluctance for myself to be too overweight the sector?

I haven't updated my XOM vs BP comps since I bought 6 mos ago though having said that.

GME back below $100. Not that price matters but I suspected market wouldn’t like Cohen distracted by BBBY

    @CathieDWood

Oil demand probably hit a secular peak last year and, thanks to #EVs, now is in secular “decline”. Though ARK has no formal forecast, I believe that #Oilprices are on their way back to $12, the level reached after the 1973 oil cartel crisis, or lower, now that EVs are
    taking off.

Chickened out of holding BBBY puts. The stock tanked so quickly that the puts ballooned. Took my loss and moved on

BP indicated last year that they were going all-in on renewables and out of fossil fuels.

Agreed. But since I've already got private and public clean-tech I wanted more exposure to trad oil/gas. XOM was the closest major I could find to that.

March is a quarterly expiration with only eight days left.

AMZN back on a two year low. Down almost 20% from its earnings spike.

This mkt has not tanked as much as I would have thought.

Still think it gets a lot worse.

Yes I am temporarily really down on all the previous purchases of same

I believe I now own 90 shares of ndaq

And another 30 shares in a fidelity fund tied to the same

You know that you bought Nasdaq exchange and not an index of Nasdaq stocks?

Not really it’s just tied to the NASDAQ. It follows what that market does

Historic high less than a year ago was 206$ a share

My hope is that it gets back over 200$ within 20ish months

I thought that was going to happen last month. I was wrong

So staying true to me it just went down even lower. And I bought some more

What do you mean "not really"? NDAQ is not an index, it's the company that runs the exchange. It does have some correlation to the performance of the market, but to say "it follows what the market does" is factually incorrect.

    ^^^^Thanks for the explanation ^^^^^

I’m good with what I’m buying

5 years ago it was DIA. I did well with that

This time I decided to go with the NASDAQ

And ndaq. Can be purchased through fidelity. A lot of others cannot

I don’t have the skills or time to look at individual stocks or the depth to buy the shares
