Are you asking what happens to your puts if said company get's delisted? Should be fine, the stocks and options should move to OTC and your puts should still be guaranteed by the OCC. So congrats

Ffs, this place is becoming like a KQ post. Everybody posting links to articles. Just need the Cliff notes version.

Am I buying or selling here?

    In other news...
The day-trading explosion took a kick to the gut on Wednesday after it was revealed that a 20-year-old college student committed suicide after seeing a $730,000 negative balance on his Robinhood account.

University of Nebraska student Alexander Kearns stepped in front of an oncoming train on June 12 after leaving a suicide note detailing his shame and anger at finding the negative balance.

That was really sad. Lots of people on reddit discuss gambling addiction. The time off opened a lot of people's eyes to the market as a casino

I put 2% of my portfolio every year into the play account to go yolo, options, futures, long, short as I felt I had tendencies to overttrade which is basically gambling. If it goes to 5% I withdraw excess. If it blows up then so be it. No more for the year. Makes it self governing

Shame about the kid. One of those articles speculated that he misinterpreted the balance posted in his account. That he didn’t actually owe 700K - that number didn’t include credit from the other side of the trade which was pending settled funds.

Tragic for anyone to take their life over money, especially at such a young age.

The E-mini set up an island gap down for Monday. It’s 100 points off today’s high at suspension. Indication is 1% lower cash opening on Monday. Probably nothing but something to watch this weekend.

If he worked for a big 4 firm he'd be asking "how do i pretend I dont know what happened to the missing 2B euros until i roll off of this audit?"

The US casinos on Wall Street keep chugging along. I guess the gamblers at the casino tables are looking at mid 2021 for a big pay day?

French drugmaker Sanofi (SNY, SNYNF) said on Tuesday that it anticipates it will receive approval for its potential Covid-19 vaccine it is creating with GlaxoSmithKline in the first half of 2021, which if successful would then be available in the second half of next year. While there are currently no vaccines to prevent the coronavirus, a host of pharmaceutical companies have entered the race to try and develop medicines to prevent and treat the virus.
