Every dip from the 1998 self off, until 2008 was a mistake. Pretty amazing that all those opportunities were wiped out in one blow. Same in real estate.

My take is that we are up too god damn much in a short period of time. Anything positive was already baked in the last two yrs. trump tax cuts etc. and now we’re flirting with higher rates which would wipe out far more from balance sheets.

Depends on what you mean by tangible, does Debt count as tangible?

Does debt count as an asset (assuming it is yours)?

That just sent me off to Google. I haven't paid any attention to the company since Jobs died...in 2011! Time flys. They've done ok without him.

JPM is an overvalued chart. Risk to 80 or lower.

Boy I'm glad I wasn't holding VLO anymore. Just recently it went from $120 to $76 today. A while back I had gotten in at $17 and out around 90. That didn't suck

I'm looking to buy some term life. Dollar cost average if in the market. I did take a chunk of change out a few months back. Rather have some realized gains and sit on the side lines. I suspect there are some mutual fund managers out there wondering what to do.

Most mutual funds have to be fully invested by their charter. Not many can just go to cash.

It’s also illegal for your average douche Advisor at Morgan to put you in cash and still pay himself. So what do you think they recommend?

So basically finra is saying you can only buy, buy, buy!

Thats not far from Chinese regulatory practices of no selling or death.

Does this convergent valuation seem odd to anyone else?

“As of Monday's close, Apple took the lead with a market cap of $877 billion. Amazon followed at $866 billion, then Microsoft with $860 billion.”

Interesting with the special closure tomorrow and the rest of the world trades. Good time for a currency and interest rate attack.

Where's Trump when you need a reassuring tweet, that this is all fake news and everything will be okay?

Getting close to an inverted yield on the 2 & 10 year treasuries. That always signals a recession is around the corner.
