Relax, COVID is about to magically disappear. Well, it's not magic. It's a miracle. And the best part; it's just around the corner!

I've been closing out short positions (SNAP, WKHS); or hedging dung (NKLA); hedging longs (GME). A civil war could spike volatility and nobody knows which way it goes.

I am still short SNAP and betting on some Volatility with uvxy and long the inverse spx etf. Granted I have been hitting stop losses on those trades for awhile so I need another day like today to be in the black. Gonna be a wild week. Months?

    second that.

if it's a contested election, i'd be short; but any stimulus agreement could be agreed to at any time and reverse todays fall off.

If Trump is reinstalled, then look for more deficit spending. Looks for Moscow Mitch's head to explode from more borrow and spend conservativism. If Biden somehow is able to circumnavigate the Trump rigged election process, and is declared the winner, look for Trump to burn it all down, and take everyone with him. DOW 14K is not beyond the realm of possibility.

Senate adjourned till Nov 9th, Mitch will wait to see how the political winds blow. If Trump wins and Repub Senate prevails they’ll quickly pass a stimulus. Biden wins and Senate remains Repub strict austerity will happen, in the name of the “debt.” Biden wins, Senate flips, stimulus passes in Jan/feb, market happy.

And added some more SNAP short in low 42s. Another dumpster dive of GME in low 12s.

Still 3% higher than the September low on SPY. Down to 3000 is not that a big a deal in a normal market.
