This is wild. Nothing makes sense anymore. I bought calls on SDOW because I can't not.

Can't wait to see him dragged out by Secret Service. I'm sure those guys are ready for it too.

Wonder if Vagas is taking bets on how long Melania sticks around after Jan 20?

You said he's not going anywhere. You're fucking high or just as delusional as a trumptard to think he will not be removed from the White House on inauguration day or whenever the actual legal date is for him to be the fuck out.

There's still a chance Trump will nuke Seattle, Portland or some other place that annoys him but that probability is diminishing hence volatility is reduced.

Cautious congrats to other long suffering CCL bagholders like Bob and myself

Nobody is considering the electoral college. They are the people who vote for the President, not you and me.

Trump will be in FL golfing from late December onward. He won't even be in the WH to be dragged out of it. DOW 30K for Christmas?

Faithless electors, sure. Has that ever changed the outcome? And if it did this year the electors would probably be hung.

Oh god. I was going to buy a stock this morning and I thought *just wait a bit* and it shot up +30%.
So just to be pessimistic and hope tomorrow crashes again, here is a random internet comment from the news.

Why is everyone getting all excited?

Pfizer has roughly 44,000 participants & the best they could come up with was 94 participants in the trial developed COVID-19 & of that the suggestion is 8 had received the vaccine & still developed COVID-19.

Seems to me Pfizer was pretty selective about which participants they used to create this 90% effectiveness suggestion.

The real question has yet to be answered, will this virus continue to mutate & remain like influenza. If so, than we have nothing to cheer about.

XOM looking decent. Had thought about buying a few more shares last week, but decided to keep the money in the bank. Will use those funds for a ski trip next spring I guess, because we will have rounded the corner and there will be miracles left and right as the virus just disappears.

There will still be miracles after Trump is out of office, right? Or will he put a pox on the WH?

What a day. Sold more stock early today. Sold CHEF at +24%, it’s at +39% right now. I’ll never learn.

If you werent planning to hold the stock for another 10 years anyways, no shame in dumping a little early and taking profits. Likely, you werent wrong, just early.

BA and RTX had quite the turaround for me today... Really glad i sacked up and kept adding shares of those last week as they dropped low. Everything was way up for me except SLV which shat the bed as expected.

Bernard Baruch was famous for saying that he got rich by selling too early.

I can’t believe I actually lost money today. I had 4 stocks up over +20% each, but a lot more lost money in the -6% to -13% range. I ended up buying the dip on the loser stocks, but I think I probably bought too early. Guess we’ll see what happens the rest of the week, whether the cat bounces.

Maybe it’s time to move the bulk of the money back into mutual funds and just let it ride. I’ve already started to shift some of it that way.

I can't believe I made money today! My SDOW calls ended up 11% and I bottom ticked the VIX.

I'm up 12.2% on the day. The vaccine news brought up my Carnival and oil surged over the news which brought me up on a lot of positions. I hope that West Texas crude stays over $40/per now.
